Why does my Silverado remote start not work?
Remote start wont’ work if there is a fault code and won’t work if the hood is not closed. Maybe the hood sensor position is incorrectly set, or there is a loose connector on that circuit. The truck doesn’t crank on cold starts using the remote starter. It was at the dealer 2 weeks ago for a service and a software update.
