Why does my Mercedes make no noise when going over a speed bump?
When going over a speed bump straight (head on), there is no noise because the bar is moving in the same direction on either end and no twisting. The end links appear good and the bar seems to be clunking inside the bushings of the mounts.

Thanks for your thoughts. check your guide arm bushings, on the c class they are known to fail often. they cause a clunking noise in the front end going over bumps. will also cause noise on any road. My car just started making a rattle/klunk as you describe and I’ve been trying to identify the source.
