Why does my Infiniti G35 turn off at low rpm?
I had my 2003 Infiniti g35 at the mechanic to fix an electrical problem (turns out remote starter wires were rubbing and causing a short) and to fix an oil leak. All in all they changed the ignition fuse and a couple relays, and the oil cooler seal.

Since the engine has reusable gaskets, as long as you are careful with the removal and installation of the throttle body (TB) you won’t have any issues. You are just trying not to damage it, which in actuality shouldn’t happen with the TB removal.

36 people found this helpful. When you put gas in these cars you can’t leave the car running or top off the tank. They will cut off and the check engine will come on. Take the negative cable off to reset it. That’s what happen to me.

What was the problem with my 2004 Infiniti G35?
I had issues with my 2004 g35. About 120k miles on it. Car would have trouble starting, only way to start it was to give it some gas. After about a few months car would stop accelerating while driving…but would pull over shut off and start up again and good to go. The solution was the replacing the cam shaft sensor.
