Why does my Honda HRV fan speed up when I let off the accelerator?
When I am accelerating, the A/C fan speed seems to slow down, or at least gets quieter. When I let off the accelerator, the fan seems to speed up or gets a little louder. I also confirmed that this occurs whether ECON mode is enabled or not.
Where is the fan blower motor on my AC?
All fuses good all relays good. The fan blower for your ac/heater is located under the glovebox. Take your hand and smack the fan blower motor a few times. That’s all it took for for mine to start working again. It’s been working for over 6 month’s now!

As in prove that somehow they shorted something out – as if. After a month without a car (too cold outside to work on it) and much online searching, testing of fuses, resistors etc etc a Honda mechanic my grandson knew suggested to him that it most likely was the whole heating unit that was blown.

The ac/heat worked great until a couple days ago. I noticed the fan was not blowing any air through the vents. Then all of a sudden it started blowing full blast, while the recirc, ac, rear defrost button lights all came on and were flashing…then it all turned off.
