Why does my Fazer stall when I put it in first gear?
I know on my Fazer, if the side stand is down and I go to put it into 1st gear from neutral, the engine will cut out. This is the switch working correctly. If it developed a fault it either wouldn’t cut the engine, or it would sense that the stand was down, even if it wasn’t.
What to do when your bike stalls in first gear?
I just got into the habbit of pulling it out by hand in the morning. At the end of the day either park it on the centre stand or diconect the switch from the frame and leave it hanging until next morning and if your bike starts fine then you know what the problem is. How do you get a grizzly to Park?
Helmut, I have to rock mine to get it into park and when I start it (without holding the brake lever) I have to rock the wheeler so the park light comes on and then it will start. Kind of a pain in the keester, but I get used to it. Just something that Grizzly owners put up with I guess.
Why does my yamahaxj600 stall in first gear?
This invariably happens with my YamahaXJ600. It can usually be solved by pulling the clutch in and giving the engine a couple of quick blips of the throttle This usually frees the plate before trying to select first. This post is not being displayed . why would a faulty side stand switch cause only one stall, that makes little to no sense.
Is it hard to get a Yamaha Grizzly out of gear?
At times I cant hardly get it out of gear. It feels like its stuck and I try rocking it back and fourth and it will finally come out of gear, but the other day I did this for quite a while and thought it was not going to come out of gear.
Why does my Yamaha Grizzly stall at low rpm?
I have a 2008 700 eps, keeps stalling at low rpm or just when i touch the trotle. I have a k&n air filter and pipe tip. Also some one told me to buy a odyssey battery (pc545) still didn’t fix the problem. There is only 240km on the machine, didn’t bring it back to yammaha yet for its first service. Anybody have any coments.

What should you do if your Grizzly cutting out?
If it is a carb problem it should pick up with a little shot of gas in the carb during the problem. Has any body had any problems with there spark plug boots. They are likely resistor boots. It might be the problem. Happy Birthday, by the way…
