Why does MY BMW R1150GS not start properly?
3rd issue ….. front wheel. This issue is based on the feeling of some kind of unbalance on the front wheel, when turning the handlebar and at low speeds. Say for example I’m turning the handlebar 30 degrees , it feels like there’s some kind of an external pressure on the turn which makes the handlebar turn bit more.
What causes the fuel pump to not start?
The fuel pump is running and delivering normal pressure to the engine But, with all that working your engine still will not start. So, the most likely cause, is that the fuel injectors are probably not opening. The (PCM) uses the trigger signal from the crankshaft position sensor; and/or camshaft position sensor to pulse the injectors.
What causes an injector to fail in a car?
Typically, when injectors fail, the solenoids often short internally, causing a drop in resistance. If the specification calls for 3 ohms and an injector measures only 1 ohm; it will pull more current. Too much current flow to an injector; may cause the (PCM) injector driver circuit to shut down.

The 1100 is said to have a healthy beam, so not such an issue there. I also fitted front suspension wishbone protectors so that a fall would not cause the swinging of the barrs to damage the wishbone or steering stop.

I’ve been riding a BMW R1150GS, almost every single day, for these last 7 – 8 months and am pleased to say that it’s a hell of a bike, and like some people say …… it rocks :P! I was always crazy about the R1200GS, and still am, but I’m still enjoying every single ride of the 1150!
Can a BMW stop running without a Hall sensor?

When does the Abs go off on a BMW?
Based on what I was explained, as soon as the wheel begins turning, the ABS sensor senses the ABS unit and, as soon as it does, then the lights goes off, meaning that the ABS is now in function.
