Why does MY BMW not start when I push the start button?

Why is there no ignition on my BMW?
Someone suggested that after getting the Diversity Antenna back in the car ‘repaired’, that the attempt to program the new remote from BMW may have activated the security system and disabled the starter. Is there a way around this or a way to check?
