Why does my 100 amp fuse keep blowing?
I think a short to ground would cause the fuse to blow and the only major things in this system that is capable of blowing a 100amp fuse are the cables, alternator, 100amp fuse and the battery. I disconnected everything and I am not getting a short to ground in the cables.

Can a Duff alternator blow a 100A fuse?
Hi Walter, the 100A fuse blown or a duff alternator will give the same symptoms, so it could be either if the battery isn’t charging when the engine is running. As you can’t easily get to either with the airbox in place, I guess removing that and having a look is the first step.
