I have a 99 custom 80 in evo I have a auto meter 2 5/8 120 mph with a connector red,green and black wire, I have a electronic speed sensor i have no idea who makes it but it has red,black,purple and orange how do i wire these items together to make them work. MY 99 FLHRC-I speed sensor is in front of battery.

Behind the transmission top cover and near the starter. Had the same problem on my 2000 ultra. Had to change to what my mechanic called a maxi fuse. The one under the seat left side that has the starter wires to it. Have not had the issue of dying at highway speed since. Ran me all of 15 dollars. Good choice for me.
