Where are the sensor locations on the MBE 900?

Where are the sensor locations on the MBE 900?

See Figure “Sensor Location on the MBE900 Non-EGR Engine” for sensor locations on the MBE 900 engine‪ Note: The 6–cylinder engine is shown; sensor locations are similar on the 4–cylinder engine. Note: The Barometric Pressure Sensor (BARO Sensor) is integrated into the PLD-MR control unit.

How many horsepower does a MBE 906 have?

MBE 906 (6.4L) 190 hp @ 2200 RPM 520 lb ft @ 1200 RPM 210 hp @ 2200 RPM 520 lb ft @ 1200 RPM 210 hp @ 2200 RPM 605 lb ft @ 1200 RPM 230 hp @ 2200 RPM 660 lb ft @ 1200 RPM 250 hp @ 2200 RPM 660 lb ft @ 1200 RPM 260 hp @ 2200 RPM 700 lb ft @ 1200 RPM MBE 926 (7.2L)

What are the different types of MBE sensors?

The MBE Electronic Controls system is designed to operate with several types of sensors as listed in Table “Sensor Types” .‪ Used to monitor the crankshaft position, engine speed, turbo speed (MBE 4000 only), and vehicle speed.‪ Used to signal coolant level, inlet air restriction, and oil level.‪ Table 1. Sensor Types

Where is the boost air and oil combination sensor?

The Boost Air Combination Sensor is located on the right-hand side of the charge air manifold, behind the No. 2 cylinder head. The Oil Combination Sensor is located at the base of the oil filter. See Figure “Sensor Location on the MBE 4000 Engine” for sensor locations on the MBE 4000 engine.‪

What should the temp of the coolant sensor be?

Check that the temperature value of the CTS is around 80-90c when the engine is hot. A lot of engine coolant temperature sensors have two wires and the sensor is controlled by Ohm. Get a wiring diagram and find out what ohms you should have at a specific temperature to check the function.
