Why is my fuel gauge not going below half?
Find the wiring that goes to the tank unit (inside fuel tank) ground the yellow/brown wire while someone watches the gauge. Before i started it I took the gas tank off and dumped out every last drop of old gas, drained the fuel line, put in a new spark plug, new gas, charged the battery and it started on the first try. Well I’m just curious for bikes that did not have any stabilizer in them, would the injectors or lines gunk up?

The Sunoco will stay sweet for a very long time, especially if it’s not in contact with air. If I were to store an injected bike for any length of time, I’d be inclined to drain the pump gas that’s in it and add enough Sunoco leaded race fuel to run it for awhile and flush out the last of the pump gas.
