What was the problem with my 08 QX56?
Had a weird issue with my 08 QX56 today. Tried to start it and it would not start. Used the keyless feature to open doors, seat moved up as normal. The Ignition was stuck in the “start” position and could not be moved. It was almost like the steering wheel was locked too. The red icon was flashing on the dash for the security system.
Is there a problem with my Infiniti car?
Nothing mechanical is wrong with the car. It starts and idols fine. It is currently sitting at the dealer awaiting the Infiniti tech “specialist” to determine if it will be covered under warranty. I pray that it is. The bill I am sure will be around $10,000! Please help if anyone else has heard of or had this problem. Thanks….
How long does it take a 2004 Toyota QX56 to level?
I traded a 2004 for a 2007 QX56 and they both level for 5 to 7 seconds after you start them from an overnight rest. Perfectly normal. If the compressor is running 7 to 10 minutes to level the vehicle, I would suspect a leak in the rear suspension.
Is there a problem with my Infiniti QX56?
Has anybody had this problem? The remote will lock and unlock the doors, but the ignition switch will not rotate from the “lock” position and the dash light flashes the car and key symbol.

What was the explosion in my Infiniti QX56?
I was traveling on the freeway in my QX56 with my 6yr old in the back, when an earsplitting explosion occurred…I could feel the pressure from it in my eardrums. My first thought was that an explosion (natural gas storage?) had occurred nearby, alongside the freeway…then I felt the shards of glass raining down inside.

A while back it stopped working while we were driving. The screen went blank and the radio stopped working NO SOUND. We were still able to use the AC/Heat. Then it came back on.

Yes, I just had the same problem with my brand new 2007 G35X. I too was driving on the highway traveling about 65mph when my sunroof exploded. Glass shattered and sunroof exploded up and out – very scary!! My car is currently at the dealership pending an explanation.
