MyVhi. Welcome to MyVhi. Your member portal gives you 24-7 secure access to policy documents, claims statements, snap & send claiming and member services. Members over 18 can register for paperless documents and submit their own claims through snap & send. The policy holder can submit claims for members under 18.
What am I covered for with VHI?
Consultations suitable for most issues including back and neck pain, sports injuries and any other stiffness or discomfort. Our speech and language therapists provide individualised programs to improve and restore communication.
Can you have a medical card and VHI?
Yes. You may have a medical card and hold private health insurance at the same time. If attending your GP for a referral you will need to decide whether you want to go publicly or privately.
What is VHI VisionCare?

Is VHI Irish?

Does VHI cover MRI scans?

Under Lifetime Community Rating (LCR), community rating is modified to reflect the age at which a person takes out private health insurance. Late entry loadings are applied to the premiums of those who join the health insurance market at age 35 or over.
Does VHI cover flu vaccine?
VHI Healthcare and Laya Healthcare do not cover the cost of this jab. Even if your private health insurance does not cover the flu jab, your insurer may cover some or all of the cost of your GP consultation – if you get the flu vaccine through your GP and incur a consultation fee in doing so.
Does VHI cover mole mapping?
At VHI, mole mapping is treated as a “general” visit to a consultant or GP, so you can get a percentage back on the cost, depending on your plan, subject to an excess. If a mole is found to be suspect and has to be removed, this procedure is normally covered in full under private health insurance policies.
