What is Fire Explorer program?

Fire Department Explorers (associated with the Boy Scouts of America) is a program designed for males and females ages 14-20, who have an interest in firefighting. Explorers train with firefighters to learn about various scenarios including fire suppression, first response (medical training) and rescue operations.

What do EMS Explorers do?

EMS Explorers assist with virtually all routine tasks in the community and around the ambulance base, including community relations, event standbys, equipment and station maintenance, and training. EMS Explorers wear a uniform, and are provided with helmets, turnouts, and other safety clothing when needed.
