What causes a misfire from one side of the engine?
It could be a too lean misfire, or a too rich misfire. If there is a large exhaust manifold leak for example, it could draw oxygen rich air into the exhaust gasses, which the PCM sees as a lean situation. It will increase the fuel injector pulse.
Can a fuel blockage cause a misfire code?
It will increase the fuel injector pulse. If too much fuel is injected, the mixture will not burn well and cause a misfire code. A blockage in the fuel rail on the bank 2 side could cause a too lean mixture, giving a lean misfire.
What to do if your Jeep engine misfires?
I changed the plugs, ignition coils, map sensor, still getting same code. Took it to my local mechanic had him run diagnostics says it’s rapid misfires on cylinders 2,4, & 6. he replaced the Bank 2 sensor 1 O2 sensor. Still getting the same thing. Cylinders 1,3 & 5 are all running normal.
Can a Random Misfire on Bank 2 cause symptoms?
Random misfire on bank 2 as well as long term fuel trim running around -20%. Just wondering if you ever tracked down the issue? No, and it would cause some of the symptoms you’re describing.

Why do I keep getting misfire codes on my cop?
Insufficient valve lash, a broken piston ring or a leaking cylinder head gasket can cause a partial loss of compression. Depending on where the vacuum leak is on the manifold, it can generate random or specific cylinder misfire codes. The most common failure in COP ignitions is carbon tracking or “flash over” on the spark plug insulator.
