What causes a bike to jerk?
If you release more clutch and less throttle,the bike will make a jerk and stop,and if you relewse less clutch and more of a throttle then it will ruin your engine. As you wring the throttle and shift through gears, your speed and acceleration both are varying – so naturally some amount of jerk is felt.

Fuel relay is good. So I bought my gixxer used and in the process of debugging, I found that the “Sensor Ground” line on the ECM harness was cut. It is cut as part of the bypass for the exhaust valve. It is cut in order to avoid getting the C46 error (“C46” EXCV ACTUATOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION) FI error.

Why does my Kawasaki Ninja 650R go into gear?
It does this when warm (hours warm) and when a little cold (idling until the bike slows down the idle automatically). Is that normal? It seems like it should go into gear without jerking or anything. My bike is a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 650R with about 2500 miles on it. I bought it new, and it is under warranty until 7/2011.
What should I do if my bike loses power?
Check the wiring, also check the fuses on the left-hand side behind the mid-fairing, take a peek under the ram air cover on the left and look at the wiring harnesses to make sure nothing has be de-pinned slightly in either connector, give them a slight tug to make sure they are fully seated in the harnesses.
