What are torque specs for Nissan plenum bolts?
I know it sounds like were beating a dead horse here.. but were just writing our thought process! It’s not a blox…but it’s pretty much the same. They have the torque specs at 100 Inch-lbs (Note: To convert inch-pounds to foot-pounds, simply divide by 12 inches to convert to feet.)
Is it OK to use RTV on Plenum bolts?
DO NOT use RTV. It won’t make a difference as the spacer is plastic and acts as one large gasket. The car is probably stalling because it’s too lean. I’ve installed two of them without torquing to spec and had not issues.
What’s the best way to install an upper plenum?
Upper plenum installation (all versions): Lay the aluminum spacer on top of the plenum to find the correct orientation. Then lift the plenum enough to slide the spacer in. Thread washers onto every supplied bolt. Using the supplied bolts as a guide, snap in the plenum internal pacers to the 6 posts with their cup side facing up.

The RTV won’t actually stick to the spacer. I spoke to one of the technicians at blox and they were the ones who told me not to use it. When you pull off the spacer (if you ever do) the RTV will just peal off like Elmer’s glue on greasy fingers.

Torque Sequence and Specs for Lower Intake Manifold, Intake Plenum… I need the torque sequence and torque specs for the lower intake manifold, intake plenum and valve covers. Any help would be appreciated. have the same problem?
