The great thing is overall the Passat has a very solid substantial feel on the road, you feel confident and safe when driving it. Its also an excellent highway cruiser. The main problem these cars have (especially the V6 models) is very slight coolant and engine oil leaks which can be fixed by getting gaskets seals and hoses replaced.
