Is the head gasket on my 2011 Warrior gone?
I have a full service history 2011 Warrior that has done approx. 35K miles and now appears to have a head gasket failure as getting bubbling in the radiator header tank – the first I knew of any problem was just before Christmas when it overheated on the motorway and dumped the contents of the radiator and header tank out.
Is there a recall on a 2011 L200?
After my initial conversation with the dealership that usually services the L200 I spoke to another dealership within the same group and they advised me that there are 2 recall notices that have been issued in the last couple of weeks. One is for an ECU rewrite and the other is for the radiator cap.
What to do if your L200 head gasket goes?
Get the dealer to do it, about 0.5hr Labour, or get another cooling system cap, graft in a Schraeder valve and do it yourself. If it loses pressure you got a gasket, head or block problem and the engine has to come apart whatever. If it holds pressure summat else is up.
