What is overkill tune?
Overkill tuning revises many items from the factory FCA tuning, including spark timing advance, camshaft phasing, fuel targets, removing throttle and fuel enrichment delays and revising torque management interventions.
How long does it take to get overkill tune?
The initial scan and tuning process took around a couple weeks to get uploaded and downloaded. The rescan however took almost 3 months with the third email forwarded finally getting the tweak tune.
What is a trifecta tune?
Trifecta Tune sounds like you’re tuning for three things. Probably Power, Economy, and Emissions.
Are trifecta tunes legit?
I have the Trifecta tune on my 19 ZR2, and had it on my 17 Z71. In short, it’s a really solid product that they have done a great job on. Driveability is vastly improved in both sport and eco modes. I’d recommend anyone who wants better driveability and a little more sport to their truck to give the tune a try.
How much HP does tuning add?
To give a ballpark figure – if you are on a stock car, you could probably gain 10-15 horsepower from a dyno tune. However, if you are running on performance parts like exhaust and turbo then 50 horsepower gain is possible – even more depending on your engine and what performance parts you equip.

They call it the trifecta because, well a trifecta is the first three finishers, and with this tune you will be third behind the Fiesta ST and Civic SI. Just having some fun, the Sonic is a great little platform that deserves some more HP.
Are trifecta tunes Safe?
I would say very safe, and nothing extra to buy, the cable is now included free (or at least was a year ago when I bought mine). The only thing you need to figure out is do you want it always on, or switchable. If switchable cruise control switch or traction control. Most go with Switchable Cruise control.
