Is 2Cellos thunderstruck real?
Croatian cellists Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser, otherwise known as 2Cellos, have arranged their own version of AC/DC’s Thunderstruck from their 1990 album The Razors Edge. Since posting the version last week, the video has amassed more than a million views every day, and trended on the front page of YouTube.
Where are the 2 cello guys from?
Hauser is from Pula, Croatia, and Šulić is from Maribor, Slovenia (to Croatian father and Slovenian mother). They met at a master class in Pula while still in their teens. They were both educated at the Academy of Music in Zagreb.
What happened to the 2Cellos?
Speaking to RTL Direkt, Luka Sulic confirmed that the duo will reunite in 2021 after splitting last year. Sulic and Stjepan Hauser decided to part ways and focus on their own projects after their gruelling 36-show tour of Australia, New Zealand and the United States last year after 8 years together.
