How many rakats is Rawatib?
Sunan Al Rawatib are referring to twelve rakats that are Sunnah Muakkadah for the five daily prayers (in the chart those whose cells which are green). These prayers were never missed by The Prophet (ﷺ) and according to hadith there is a great reward to the one who offers them daily.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Allaah will build a house in Heaven for whoever is diligent in observing 12 Sunnah Rak’aat (as follows): 4 Rak’aat before and 2 after the Dhuhr (Midday) Prayer, 2 after the Maghrib (Sunset Prayer), 2 after the Ishaa (Evening) Prayer and 2 before the Fajr (Dawn) Prayer.”
When can you pray Qasr?
According to the Hanafi Fiqh, it’s permissible for a Muslim to pray shortened prayer if he plans to stay less than 15 days. Beyond 15 days he is believed to be a resident and should offer the regular fardh rakats.

However, based on the method of calculation, Dhuha hours are calculated as the time of Sunrise plus one-third time difference of Sunrise and Subuh. On average, the Dhuha prayer time is around 28 minutes after Sunrise (Astronomy Research Unit, The Department of Islamic Development Malaysia, 2001).
How do you pray Salah when traveling?
Therefore, Almighty Allah has offered us convenience to pray Salah during the travelling. You can perform Salah while traveling by shortening the rakats from 4 to 2 of Dhuhr, Asr and Ishaa prayers, and you can also combine the dhuhr with Asr, and Maghreb with Isha.
