How do you use Manic Panic red?
- Shampoo hair using a deep cleansing shampoo.
- Empty the desired amount of Manic Panic Hair Color into a coloring bowl.
- Do not apply to the scalp, but 1/2 inch from scalp.
- Cover hair in plastic cap and leave on for 30 minutes.
- Rinse hair in cold water away from face and body until the water runs clear.
How do you apply Manic Panic hair dye?
Apply Manic Panic® Hair Color evenly and fully saturate your strands making sure to work in small sections. Cover hair with a plastic cap (not necessary but can help with processing and clean up).
Should I wash my hair before using Manic Panic?
Wash and dry your hair thoroughly before dyeing it. Use a regular or clarifying shampoo to wash your hair, making sure it’s super clean and rinsed out. Let your hair air dry or use a blow dryer to dry your hair thoroughly before starting the dye process.
Can I leave Manic Panic in for 2 hours?
If you end up putting developer in anyway, DO NOT leave developer in your hair for more than around 45 minutes, because you’re putting the effects of bleach on your hair for that amount of time. Manic Panic on it’s own can be used for hours and hours.
Is red Manic Panic good?
The color washes out a little bit every time, but the color lasts better than other brands. I’ve been coloring my hair bright red for a few years, and this is my favorite red that doesn’t fade heavily to orange or pink at my natural blonde roots.
Can you put Manic Panic on red hair?

Can I mix Manic Panic with conditioner?
Use conditioner for subtler colour Squirt some Manic Panic into the bowl and mix it in with white conditioner (always white!) until you achieve your desired shade. As a general rule of thumb, the colour you see in the bowl is the colour your hair gets dyed.
Should I color my hair red?
