How do you set up Burton bindings?
Setting up your board is super easy.
- Step 1: Place the mounting hardware into The Channel. Depending on if you have Re:Flex™ or EST® bindings, you’ll want to adjust the mounting hardware to match where it is mounted.
- Step 2: Adjust your stance.
- Step 3: Adjust your binding straps and hi-backs.
What angle should the back of my bindings be?
If you want to set up your snowboard bindings correctly, your stance on a snowboard should be about shoulder width, with approximately 15 degrees of angle on your front binding and around 0 degrees in the back. Experiment and find what’s most comfortable for you, in the end it’s individual preference.
What is Burton reflex?
In simplest terms, Burton Reflex baseplates are designed to optimize board feel. It’s underfoot flex is 70% softer than a traditional baseplate, which naturally allows the board beneath the binding to flex more naturally. The baseplate is cored to dramatically reduce weight.
What degree should I set my snowboard bindings?

How do you Mount bindings on a snowboard?
Place the bindings on the snowboard, without disc, over the holes you have chosen for your particular stance. Place the disc in the bindings of the first binding you are mounting at the binding angles you have chosen. Line up the arrow on the bindings baseplate with the angle you have chosen.
Can you adjust gas pedals after bindings are screwed in?
You can’t adjust the gas pedals once the bindings are screwed in, so it pays to do it now. Set up your boots in your bindings and adjust the gas pedal appropriately to fit the contour of your boot. These can feel like they’re not going to move at first. They take a little bit of a combination of force and finesse.
