Most of the families in The Sims 3 and its expansion packs already own cars which are either on their lot or in their inventories. As with bikes, the car will go into the Sim’s inventory after a Sim has driven it to another lot, unless that lot has a parking lot. As with The Sims 2, only teens and older can drive cars.
