Is Canyonlands RV friendly?
Canyonlands has two campgrounds, one in Island of the Sky and one in the Needles. Both campgrounds are dry and can accommodate RVs up to 28 feet in length. RV parks and campgrounds are also available in the nearby towns of Moab and the farther-flung Monticello.
Can you sleep in your car in Canyonlands?
Sleeping in your car is not permitted in either of those, or most NPs for that matter. You need to stay at a proper campsite. Arches has a huge construction project going on and the park closes to visitors at 7PM on weeknights. Thanks.

It would take days, weeks even, to fully explore all that Canyonlands has to offer. However, if you only have one day in Canyonlands, you have just enough time to visit the highlights. There are several different areas of Canyonlands National Park.
