2005 Jeep crd, fuel heater possible fire hazard. Design allows fuel filter head to melt then air enters the diesel system. Engine may stall on highway dangerous thing! mines stalled out and been towed couple times. Chrysler has been poor in fixing this problem.
Jeep Liberty crd went into limp mode on highway causing vehicle to slow below 40 mph. Fuel/water separator was leaking fuel from pre-heater plug, which shorted out heater plug. Heater plug was scorched on the inside, no fire noted.
