Are primus stoves any good?
The Primus Classic Trail finishes towards the middle of our fleet for a low price. While it isn’t the lightest stove, it is lighter and more packable than several other stoves in our test and the large burner head means it works well with bigger pots and pans.
Can you use propane with a Primus stove?

According to Eastern Slopes, an 8 ounce canister of fuel can burn for about three hours, when using a variety of heat settings. If you always plan cranking the burner on high to boil water, the fuel canister will NOT last nearly as long.

Can I use Coleman propane with JetBoil?
Any fuel canister with an “EN417” nozzle will work with JetBoil stoves. This is a common standard that includes isobutane/propane fuel canisters from MSR, Primus, GasOne, and Snowpeak. You can also use butane/propane mixtures, such as Coleman. Basically, as long as the canister fits, it will work.
