Can you adjust Bilstein 5100 after they are installed?
The adjustable 5100 fronts have a groove in the shock where a ring sits in. Then your perch rests on top of that. Spring is then compressed on top of that. You will have to completely disassemble the shock then reinstall everything after changing the height setting.
Can I use stock springs with Bilstein 5100?

A 5100 series shock will have an extended length over stock shock absorbers, to accommodate an already lifted vehicle, up to 6″ in many cases.

Been running the Bilstein 5100 at 1.75″ on my 2012 Trail with KDSS for years. I did go with Toytec rear springs to stiffen up the rear. No issues.
