Why won t my car start not the battery?
Similar to the starter engine, a broken or damaged ignition switch can stop your car from starting. If your headlights can turn on, but your car won’t crank, that means that your battery is charged, but either the starter or ignition is the problem.
Why are there no lights on my laptop?
No lights or anything would come up anywhere on the laptop. I looked up support forms and tried the whole take the battery out, power button down for 60 seconds, put in charger and try to power up and it didn’t work. No lights still come on. AC adapter cord looks fine, everything looks fine.

Answer appears to be removing and reinstalling the CMOS battery inside the laptop. You will then start with a “clean” BIOS in the CMOS chip. The CMOS data can become corrupted.

Why is the Power Light on but not the fan?
The power light turns on for a few seconds but then it turns off again. The fan doesn’t turn on either. I know it’s not the battery because I switched the battery out with my brother;s and it’s still not working.
Why is the charging light on my laptop not working?
The charging light only lights of a second when I plug it in. The laptop does not respond at all to pressing the power button. I replaced the battery, and then replaced the small cable from the battery to the computer. I have tried two different AC changers, and I tried the reseat the RAM trick.
