Why is my Jeep JGC blend door not working?
What I discovered was this is a very common problem with my model of JGC (1999-2004). I love my Jeep, but the person that designed this blend door actuator system needs to find new work. The design is inherently weak, and relies on a calibration phase that puts intense pressure on the weakest points in the system.

How to fix a Jeep Cherokee blend door?
Turn the ignition to run and turn the climate control on. The actuator will begin to rotate clockwise. Once the key is in the correct position turn off the ignition and disconnect the battery. Push the new door onto the connector and slide the connector pin all the way into the installed door.

Why does my Jeep kJ have no heat?
My symptom was absolutely no heat. Direction dial (vacuum actuated) and fan and speed settings were fine. Coolant was fine, heater lines showing proper temps. Just no heat. AC was great all summer but it started getting a bit cool here this fall. I distinctly remember hearing a faint buzz when the temperature was changed prior to my loss of heat.
Where are the HVAC panels on a jeep kJ?
They are quite easily seen when all the molding and panels are removed. There are four that are beneath the steering column and attach the dash to the column brace. two straight in on each side of the column and two back underneath that go up through the bracket.
