2 people found this helpful. Hyundai ix35 2010. Radio was working fine then all of a sudden a screeching beep from speaker with no music sound for radio, CD or AUX. Beep wouldn’t stop unless car off and fuse out. Tried new fuse. Have had an auto electrician inspect and try different speaker but still didn’t work.

Why did my Hyundai Elantra radio stop working?
I bought the new Elantra GL 2010 and after just 1 year, my radio got waves (plastic was burned) because of the sun on the board during summer!! My car dearler changed it twice. Since that, my radio stopped after 2 cds (too hot).
