Why does my Bose radio say please wait?
The Please Wait message simply indicates the Bose processor cannot complete booting up- and there are no pushbutton fixes for this. Bose states the only thing you can do when you see that message, is to wait for it to disappear.

How old is a Bose Wave radio CD player?
Unit is at least 20 years old. Cdplayer tries to move but stops. Then shows cd fault. It will hum and than stop. From reading about cd it sounds like not enough power to spin. Maybe needs pot adjustments. I don’t know. Unit was in original box and never opened. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
How can I Clean my Bose CD player?
If your player is not reading any discs at all though, then try purchasing a can of compressed air (available at Staples, or Wal-Mart). Open the CD drawer, or remove the cover of the player by removing the screws on the sides and rear of the unit. Then spray the can approximately 10″ from the lens to blow any dust off of it.
