Transparent heels tend to create and support the illusion of elongated legs, and nobody wants to see your calves ending abruptly in a pair of hued clodhoppers. 5” or 6” heels are perfect for lengthening your body and elongating your entire figure before the judges.
How should competition heels fit?
From our experience, ¾” platforms are the most popular but 1” platforms tend to be more comfortable and allow for easy transitioning in posing. If you are opting for a shorter heel height, then the ½” and 1/8” platforms are the way to go!

What is wellness competition?
What is the Wellness Division? This division is for females with athletic physique’s that showcase more body mass in the hips, glutes and thigh areas. The upper body is developed but not to the same degree as the lower body.

Women’s Physique Athletes wear two-piece suits with V-shaped bottoms and are barefoot onstage, and the posing is similar to a traditional bodybuilding with quarter turns as well as mandatory poses.
