Why are the parking lights on my Jeep Patriot not working?
The exterior lighting for your Jeep is pretty simple and yes something is wrong as your front parking bulbs should be on. The question then becomes – what the heck would cause that? I doubt both bulbs would “halfway” burn out at the same time?

Engine was running and the headlights were on because I backed out of the garage to pull out trash cans. The tail lights were on, just can’t see it from that angle. One click on the control light control turns on the rear lights but not the fronts.

If you have the stock tail lights remove the lense and fully inspect the wires and connections and light socket. I had the same problem on a Yj and the problem was corrosion in the tail light housing.

2014 and I installed the 3157 which fit fine, also am selling a set of 3157 amber LED’s with resistors BTW Is the turn signal controlled by CANBUS or a relay and is there a fuse? Click to expand… 3157 seems to be the correct bulb – the book at the auto parts shop had the wrong bulb listed.
Where are the speaker wires on a Jeep Wrangler?
On models with amplifier, the speaker wires are gray/lt. green – gray/dk. green at the amplifier under driver dash, black 16 pin plug, pins 13 and 5. On models with amplifier, the speaker wires are dk. green/lt. green – dk. green/gray at the amplifier under driver dash, black 16 pin plug, pins 4 and 12.

(Same Bulbs (2) as the parking Light) left TAIL light, left PARKING light does not turn on when i turn the headlights on with the standard 2 position pull knob on the dash. It only effects the left side of the car. Right side works properly. Check 10 amp fuse in location 7 of fusebox, this is for park lamps on left side.
