Sounds like a stuck thermostat to me…but I am a pharmacist to car engine tech! ok your thermostat housing is located on the rear of the cylinder head. There is a hard plastic pipe that runs along the drivers side of the engine that connects to the thermostat housing. i have found that it’s easier to remove the whole housing but it’s up to you.
