Where are the speed sensors on a Polaris RZR?
Instructions in the owners manual on how to retrieve them, before you turn the key off. Once you turn the key off, it resets when powered on, I think. SPN 84 FMI 2 & 19 and SPN 190 FMI 31. Same codes come up every time. The connections are clean. I took the pic before I took it to the dealer. SPN 84 FMI 2 & 19 and SPN 190 FMI 31.
Is there a problem with the speed sensor on a Polaris 900?
Better check your dealer, sounds electronic and expensive. have anyone found a fix for the speed sensor problem on a 2016 Polaris 900s, have only had it for two days and already have a check engine light on. mine has been doing it for a while, its going in under the recall (when the parts come in)and they are going to look into it.

Click to expand… same machine here, 2021 Highlifter and 8.5hours on machine and have had the 84 2 code for speed sensor come and go on the first 2 rides. I agree, B.S. to have these problems right out of thegate on a new machine.

Where is the speed sensor located on a Polaris Ranger?
The following is a quote from the 09/10 Service Manual: “The speed sensor is located in the transmission transfer case cover and can be accessed through the rear LH wheel well area.” If you have the service manual for your unit you should be able to test it using Test #3 under “Instrument Cluster Troubleshooting Tests”

Why is my speed sensor not working on my 2017 Polaris RZR?
I have a 2017 900s and was riding in a lot of water when the engine light came on I thought it was just silt in the radiator and flushed it then the speedometer quit working. I got back to camp and opened the fuse box under the seat and pulled the fan relay out.
