When does aircon shut down on Nissan Patrol?
Whilst crossing the Nullabour on a rather warm day around 38, driving into a strong wind the temperature climbed to nearly the end of the “normal” range. The aircon then shut down which i have been informed is supposed to happen. The next day in cooler climates everything was normal again.

A couple of our customers with this problem have done this and have never had an overheating since. Expensive, but a permanent fix. By the way, it is true about the temp guage. Nissan have stated that right up to the point when the A/C cuts out is considered normal operating temp range.
