My usual service engineer tried one or two things by checking relays etc. but has put me in touch with a Jaguar Mechanic in the South Essex Area that has all the correct diagnostic equipment apparently. He can’t look at it for two weeks though so I might be forced into the arms of a main dealer on this one.

The other problem could be that there is a fault with your front damper circuits/ height sensors. If one side is u/s ie too high the other side will try too compensate and rise also.
