Is it possible to have two exhaust sensors?
I wouldn’t “piggyback” sensors or try to wire two sensors together, just not sure how accurate the readings will be. If possible, have an “H” pipe or “X” pipe installed into the exhaust system and put the sensor there to sum the two sides of the engine’s exhaust if you want to read both sides with one sensor.
How does the fuel gauge work on a motorcycle?
The fuel causes hydrostatic pressure measured by the sensor. The data from this pressure sensor are evaluated by a microcomputer, which compares it to the data in its memory (the memory is set up during calibration) and then shows the current amount of fuel on the display. Therefore, you don’t need any float or other modification to the fuel tank.
Is there a way to read both sides of exhaust?
If possible, have an “H” pipe or “X” pipe installed into the exhaust system and put the sensor there to sum the two sides of the engine’s exhaust if you want to read both sides with one sensor. You could install two sensors/gauges, but reading them both while driving will be a chore (I also have an AFR wideband installed).
Can you wire a narrow band sensor to two sensors?
You can’t wire it to 2 sensors. That narrow band sensor needs to be as close to the engine as possible. You can do as quartlow did and be able to check both sides when tuning. Be aware though, tuning with a narrow band sensor can be tricky.
