After the great war he was appointed as a teacher to instruct King Parikhita.Then after collapse of Hastinapur dynasty and at the advent of Kaliyuga he just disappeared into history.There is no mention of him in any subsequent epics nor he was seen by anyone. Many people have seen a man like Ashwathhama but not Kripacharya.
