How often do you drive a Mercedes Vito?
It’sbeen driven around australia and at one stage was doing round trips of 3600km every week. It never missed a beat. btw I’ve had VW’s for work (surveillance vans) – you can keep them. I prefer the 638 body – but my next vehicle will be a 639.

Sorry but Vito’s where good new but very much show their Spanish build qulaity later in life.. Click to expand… Mines done over 185.000km. No rust (and it’s been through the tropics). No mechanical problems. some dicky electronics (fog lamp switches and erratic alternator dashboard light after 8 years + an faded odometer light ).
Why is the gear box on my Vito so weak?
Ok so with out being so negative I found the gear box on the Vito to be a weak box. I changed the oil on the box and added a gear box treatment and this worked very well infact instant result.
Is the Vito a small van or a Big Van?
Sorry, buit I find throw away comments like that just don’t stand up to basic tests of rigour. My Vito is atypical of the reputation that MB Vans have in this country – and they’re regarded as now intruding right into the japanese/korean small van market.
Can a Mercedes-Benz Vito CDI 110 start?
There is no way of priming the van and it is not self priming, as long as the diesel filter is full of fuel the van will start. Is the EDC light on ?. Is the battery good ?. Have you read the codes with a scanner? if so what are they. 1 x 190e, 2 x vito cdi 110 many spares…. still the vito wont start…..

Starter Works Fine And When The Van Was Running It Was Running Fine .it Started To Take A While To Start And This Just Got Worse Over A Few Days Till It Would Not Start At All.

What are the relays on a Mercedes Benz Vito?
CDI, oil sensor, fuel temp sensor,CMP sensor, water temp sensor,rail pressure sensor,Crank position sensor,4 injectors, high pressure pump shut off valve, rail pressure control valve, fuel shut off valve. The only other relays are to do with lights ect ect More Fuel Problems…
