Infantry Training Battalion (ITB) is a 59-day course. The mission is to train, mentor, and evaluate Marines in the Infantry MOS with specific entry-level tasks under the leadership of Combat Instructors.
What do you learn in ITB?
At the beginning of the Infantry Training Battalion training, Marines study marksmanship, explosive devices, grenades, and how convoys work. Also, Marines learn about military operations in an urban environment, formations, and patrolling.

Where do Marines report to School of infantry?
All personnel reporting to the School of Infantry for permanent assignment, either PCS or PCA, report directly to S1 Administration Office in Ivy Hall, building G-644, second deck, room 260. After working hours, Marines will report in person to the Officer of the Day (OOD) located on the first deck of Ivy Hall, utilizing the front entrance.
