You can get to the Makapu’u Tide Pools by climbing down the cliffs off the Mkakapu’u Lighthouse Trail (you’ll spot an unmarked path about half way up to the light house at the scenic spot with a whale watching sign). The climb down can be dangerous so be careful and considered before going.
