You can paint the Herculiner product once it has ben applied and cured. I did the gunwales on my boat with it and then painted over it to the same color as the boat works fine.

Can you paint over Herculiner bedliner?
yes you can. I just redid the bed of my truck. used Lacquer thinner to prep it, then did 2 new coats on the bed walls and did 2 new coats on the bed. I use this stuff for everything and have found that if you paint over (Rattle cans) it as it tacks up, you get a nice glossy finish that lasts.
