What causes a Nissan Murano to run rich?
Idle Issues– Your Murano may run rich or lean when idling, or it may also idle erratically. A rich condition is when there is not enough air relative to the fuel in the air/fuel mixture. The exhaust color is usually darker when running rich.
Why does my Murano Jerk when I go down the road?
Jerking– As you go down the road, you’ll feel your Murano really jerk and hesitate as the engine speed changes erratically. It’s bad for your motor mounts when this happens. Also, jerking can be caused by bad spark plugsor coil packs. Decreased Fuel Mileage– Fuel mileage can suffer without the proper air/fuel mixture.
Where is the MAF sensor on a Mitsubishi Lancer?
Uses mass airflow sensor cleaner. It’s really cheapand available at any parts store. It sure beats the heck out of having to buy a new sensor. Locate the MAF Sensor– It’ll be in between the air filter and the throttle body. Remove the Sensor- Take care not to damage the wiring harness or the connector pins that receive the harness in the MAF.

Are there any electrical problems with the Nissan Murano?
The electrical harness connector directly under the seat will fail and actually get so hot it will melt the plastic pieces! in fact, Nissan has issued it’s own 15 page service bulletin warning to its dealers on the fire danger (el18-035, reference ntb19-004, dated 17 January 2019).
How many days has Nissan Murano been in the shop?
Reported multiple times to Nissan dealer and Nissan consumer affairs. Has been in the shop a total of 18 days during 4 occurrences. Nissan corporate will not heed the dealers advice to replace abs system. This safety issue is still unresolved and the vehicle is still in a service bay awaiting Nissan corporate direction.
Where did the smoke come from in my Nissan Murano?
Smoke was noticed inside the car while I was driving on a rural freeway in the blue mountains of oregon. The source of the smoke appeared to be the rear passenger set, right side. I pulled over. When I opened the door on the right side of the car, a large plum of smoke erupted from the rear seat.
