Will 15 rims fit a WJ?
yes you can fit 15″ on a WJ but you need a certain amount of backspace… Crager soft 8’s with 4″ BS will fit..
Can you put 35-inch tires on a 17 inch rim?
33-inch tires work well with rims that measure 15 or 16 inches in width, while 35-inch tires should only be used with rims that are at least 17-inches wide. Larger tires require wider rims to maximize the tire profile and improve your Jeep’s maneuverability.
Are there 35 inch wheels for Rubicon wheels?
Click to expand… This guy runs 37’s on stock JK Rubicon wheels… So did this guy until he switched to beadlocks… Lots of guys run 35s on 7.5″ wheels even though the tire manufacturer says a range that doesn’t include that width. My concern is if the 7.5″ wide wheels have the correct backspace.
How big are the tires on a jeep Rubicon?
There are several Jeep Rubicon owners who fitted 315/70R17 tires and went “wheeling” disconnected with no rubbing or body scrub. Some have fitted 35/12.5R17 and rubbed off-road without disconnecting. For those interested, here is a link where they fit 37 inch tires with minimum modifications ,see below.
Can you put BFG rims on a Rubicon?
Doesn’t rub, even without the lift. Talked to a pretty knowledgeable Jeep guy at DT today and while he would technically put the 315/70/17 BFG’s on the stock Rubicon rims w/ no lift, he said there’s no way he would put them on his own Jeep based on width. I was ready to pull the trigger but now I’m not so sure.
