Why are there no low beams on my Jeep kJ?

A Standard is for use with a jeep without fog lights, and the other for use with fog lights. The fog light one’s end cap pulls outward, and has the fog symbol on it. The low beam relay could be the cause of having no low beams and it is located in the JB Junction block.

Check fuse & relay first. Low beam fuses are inside fuse panel left kick panel, position #4 and #5 -10 Amp Red Headlight One for left & one for right headlight. Try a new relay and see if that works first. Disconnect battery ground and isolate it before removing the relay.

Why are the low beams on my Liberty Sport not working?

I have a 2005 Liberty Sport and the low beams won’t come on. I have checked and changed fuses, wires and the headlight switch. I can’t find the low beam relay. Does anybody know where this is or what my problem is?? Had this happen in my old Ranger once… replacing the bulbs fixed the problem. Did that.

Can a jeep Head Light be burned out?

If you haven’t first verified the high beam filaments are good I suggest you do that before you go looking for trouble you may not find, just because both filaments are burned out. Agree w/ @Cougar above, the first thing is to check to see if the high beam filaments are burned out.

Why are the high beams on my Jeep not working?

Just discovered that both high beams are not working. Regular lights ok. When switch to high beam both go off. I know some bulbs have two filaments, is this the case for this car?

Where is the low beam relay on a jeep kJ?

The red outline is the end of the BCM, and the green dashed outline is where the low beam relay is located – the black object near the top corner of the BCM is the high-beam relay. In order to actually see the low beam relay you’ll need to get your head down where the brake and gas pedals are and look up into that corner with a light.

Where is the relay on a Jeep Liberty?

There is a relay, and it is located on the back side of the junction block (which is where the fuse block is located). Here is a diagram of where it is:

What to do if your low beams don’t work?

Since your high beams work then you don’t have a problem with the ground to the lights under the hood. You could also do a quick test of the power wiring by pulling the relay and using a jumper from the supply terminal to the output terminal to see if the lights come on, but you swapped the relay so that rules that out.

Where are the low beam and high beam relays?

There is however also a single lowbeam relay, which gets its signal from the body control module. So have a look at this relay first. You could swap the low beam and high beam relay to be sure that the problem is the relay. Both relays are on the junction block, above the fuse box.
