Why are the tail lights not working on my 2001 L200?
Recently purchased a 2001 L200 and last night a friend following me noticed that my tail lights were not on. Knob inside is turned all the way up, hazards, signals, backup lights, license plate lights…all work and the brake lights illuminate when I press the brake but tail lights don’t seem to come on at all.
Where is the indicator relay on a Mitsubishi L200?
Checked the wiring along the chassis and through into the vehicle under the carpet and all OK. Checked pins from connector forward to the in car fuse board and we are getting short to ground on the pins that supply 12 v + the indicator relay has been replaced for an original Mitsubishi part so have to hope that is a good part?

If dash lights are working then check the rear tail light bulbs if bulbs are okay you will have to back trace the line from the tail lights to find the short in the wiring harness . check the wiring under the carpet on the drivers side from front to rear there you will find a plug this could be the area of malfunction .

Why are the reverse lights not working on my GMC Truck?
My Neutral/Park Safety switch is under the steering wheel like a manual would be, instead of on the trans like an Auto. There also seems to be an insulated copper wire running under the truck, all the way from the back, and he had it running up where the shifter is now on the floor. ..this wire is going nowhere.

This is what I’ve found while trying to troubleshoot this problem, maybe someone can help me. 1) The fuse under the hood for the reverse lights is good and had power across it while the gear select lever is in Park and Reverse, but no other gears. 2) I do hear a relay snapping on/off in the dash somewhere when I remove and reinstall the fuse.
