Where are the relays on a power door lock?
Facing the box you have two relays on the left side one on top of the other. On the right side you have a single relay. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what part of the locking operation does each relay control and what one of the three relays it is.

Where is the door lock relay located on a 1998 GMC Sierra?
The door lock relay is located under the center of the dash. Wow! This is probably why none of my searches are producing informative results. I also currently own a 1998 GMC Sierra truck and the dash looks identical. I have the Chilton manual for my 98′ but it never dawned on me to look.
Can a power door lock only lock the passenger side?
On the passenger side the power door switch will unlock and lock the drivers side door but it will only unlock the passenger side. So that is the trouble I’m having Neither switch will lock the passenger side, I was wondering out of the three relays what one could cause that.

If that relay also clicks constantly, you need to run more tests. If that relay works fine, then the original relay that was in that spot is faulty. Simply replace that relay with a new one. Identify the terminals on the relay. Look at the terminal labels on the relay.
Why is the cowl not connecting to the driver side door?
Of course it is also possible that the wiring harness between the driver side door and cowl is corroded and that some of the pins are to corroded or even broken off and do not make contact. Also check that you have good and tight positive and negative battery cable connection to the battery posts.
